This bed works great in my small home because I always need extra storage. The assembly was a bit of a chore, but if you take it box by box, you get a rhythm going and its not too bad. Some of the boards were slightly damaged, but I wasnt surprised given the state of my boxes at delivery! I had to use extra screws in the middle slats, otherwise they were just sort of floating there and I didnt feel that was very secure. Price point was a bit steep ($900)...but overall, a unique and beautiful bed. I paired it with a bookshelf headboard from home depot.
