It's very pretty! Has multiple setting for lights and display. It will only be for looks as I'm scared to use the heat after reading other reviews! Instructions had to be downloaded and didn't come in the box and I'd you don't know hot to find them and use a smartphone/computer I wouldn't suggest this. The we actually put it together backwards bc instructions wasn't very clear so had to redo it. All together took about 3-4 hours. It's all worth it though bc we love it! Love the TV stand and how beauu it all looks
