CAVEAT EMPTOR! BAIT Switch/They send octagon not square

The Garden Company should be disciplined for their utter lack of ethics. But whos going to discipline them? It is very disappointing, because the umbrella is too heavy and cumbersome to return. Thus, is successful in their goal to bait and switch the customers on . All I can say is CAVEAT EMPTOR! This is an obviously well built and sturdy umbrella. Initially, it was difficult to assemble by myself since I am an older gentleman, and the instructions were designed for people who rather use emojis than words. Thats not me. I wisely purchased the base, which was expensive, but necessary. After filling the base with water, attaching the bottom pole with the 4 screws, I was miraculously able to lift the umbrella over the bottom pole, and the rest was easy. Everything works well. The tilt and rotate cranks move smoothly respectively. The one caveat is even with the additional expense of the base, the umbrella sways violently in a breeze. This is a big and monstrously heavy umbrella, which is good. However, the four screws may not be enough to secure the bottom pole to the base. I am far from being an engineer, but the umbrella needs a tighter attachment to the base. There are wind proof umbrellas, but they cost thousands of dollars. For the price, cantilevered umbrella is a very good buy.
