Great umbrella! I bought this to use over my BBQ area to avoid the hot afternoon sun and it works perfectly. I got the 10 x 10 size to cover a large area. Set up was easy, the only thing you have to put together are the legs of the base and then lift the main pole structure in the base. Everything else is assembled which I greatly appreciated. Just lift and crank to open the umbrella. One caution is that it is a bit top heavy so make sure you have some heavy blocks or pavers to set on the base. I used a wench strap and secured it to my patio frame from the top and it worked extremely well in holding the umbrella stand solid in wind. The umbrella does have a tendency to sway in the wind, moving from side to side so I secured it with string ties much like you would secure a tent for camping. The ties worked great and the umbrella stayed put even in strong winds. I plan on using this umbrella for both the cookout area and over the swimming pool on hot sunny days. Great product, very pleased.
