    Moderate wind can tip it

After reading the many reviews, I bought the umbrella, the plastic water filled base AND the sand bags just to make sure the umbrella stays upright. On the first day of use, there was a moderate breeze and the base did not falter. About an hour later, a gust of about 10 mph knocked it over breaking my deck rail but not doing any damage to the umbrella. The next day, I fabricated brackets to fit over the large base and attached them with sleeve anchors in my concrete patio. I have since deliberately raised it in a moderate wind and it is fine now. Being able to rotate the umbrella is what makes it so usable since moving it requires some labor on my part. So make sure you have the correct location for the base before adding all that weight.even with wheels its not so easy to move. For the money, I am satisfied.it looks classy too!
