BEST SO FAR OF ALL UMBRELLAS TRIED BUT VERY LARGE TENDS TO ROCK IN THE WIND WHEN UP
This umbrella provides a very nice shade on our deck. It absolutely huge so it blocks out a lot of sun. The base is very large but was extremely difficult to fill with sand. We put as much as we could fit and also put water in to weigh it down. The base still rocks forward and backward (mostly forward) in the wind. It hasnt toppled over like others had though. I tried everything to even the sand within it out so it wasnt too heavy in the front of the base and to add water to help level the sand, but its a bit too heavy in the front due to the large umbrella being entirely on the one side of the base. The base would need to be heavier in the back to compensate. I can definitely recommend otherwise except to say that once up, you will have a nearly impossible time of moving it. The umbrella is also very, very heavy to put in the base or remove. Its a 2/3 person job to deal with assembly. We had 3 and it was still a bit tough. Weve had it for a few months and the color seems to be holding as well as the quality.
