This is definitely a two person job to set up. When we opened it I saw a hole in the fabric. I thought about sending it back to but I would have had to have taken the whole thing someplace to be repackaged since we no longer had the box. I contacted and they responded right away. I took a few pictures and sent them in to them. They sent new fabric to me right away. It wasnt that difficult to put on. Great response from the manufacturer. The umbrella is beautiful and easy to adjust. We got the base from them also and it is quite large and heavy once you fill with water. You really need to position it before weighing down because there is no way you will be able to move the base once it is filled.
