A little expensive I think, but still a good value I believe. It feels quiet sturdy and has a wood bar that runs down the middle which seems to help reinforce it. Our daughter hasn't slept on it yet as its a surprise, but I will update if any issues arise. So far I'm happy with both its functionality and fun elements. She has a small room so fitting storage and an extra little hideaway/reading nook was key to maximizing space. She is a very tall 5 year old, but I think this will last a little while for her needs. Easy assembly though a little tedious. Instructions were thorough and easy to read/follow. Do need a drill just to keep in mind.
Update, so far no issues, and our daughter Loves her bed. She has a fun play area under it and the slide does well. She learned after first run how to land with her feet so she doesn't hit her bottom. Her older brothers now want a loft bed too lol
