This is a cheap chair, and it wont ever be as sturdy or comfortable as something twice its price. I like the look of it, and the material was much nicer than expected. There was a loose piece of wood rolling a inside of one of the armrests, no way to get it out. The box wore away at one of the corners but considering the bad shape the box arrived in, it was in good shape overall.
Im 64 and 260lbs. I fit in the chair just fine with room left over. If you remove the arm pillows, two smaller adults or kids could sit side by side. The feel is firm, but the design of the back rest just isnt comfortable. Some kind of comfortable throw pillow is a must.
