The size (48 high x 14 wide) is perfect for me although it might be too narrow for some people. One advantage is the option to hand it over a door or to use the enclosed hardware to attach it to a wall. I also found that it was satisfactory to just lean it against a wall while I decided how I wanted to mount it. You just wont see your head! Another advantage is its weight. Under 8 lbs, its easy to maneuver and hang--and theres nothing to put together. Finally, its just plain attractive and classy with its simple white wooden frame.
