It is 7.5 as described. Its a very nice tree but not as full as hoped. You really have to manipulate the branches to make it appear fuller and not have a lot of gaps. The white snow stuff flakes off so bad so beware but, super easy to clean up! Overall very pleased with the purchase. Its prefect for a small corner and looks so pretty with light and decorations. Very pretty from an outside view in a window as well
