These stools were very easy to put together, and they are very pretty. The handle goes up and down, the only thing that will make you nervous is they are not heavy like a bar stool, you know where you go to drink, but they are sturdy enough. When you take out the pieces, there is this round piece that goes around the top of the base, it is so cheaply made that when we were taking the pieces out of the box, I was like oh no. But that was the only piece that was made like that. you will like them / I am not sure how they would hold up to roughness.
