Is this chocolate or something else? Slate probably. You be the judge. I ordered the chocolate, but this is actually nice, I can change out the rest of my decor to a more modern look (something I kinda wanted to do anyway). Still, its concerning because I was planning on ordering the chair and ottoman too if I liked this. What color will I get? Who knows, thats the fun!
It seems pretty sturdy, a bit firmer than I expected, but still pretty comfy.
The other issues are around delivery. I scheduled this for Friday, but received it today (the Tuesday before), which is great, dont get me wrong, but the only reason I was able to take delivery is because I happen to be home from work today. I did get a notification yesterday that it would be here today, but this morning when I checked it again, the site and my echo both said it would be here Thursday. It was just weird being told 3 different things. The last issue was that the delivery guys simply hauled the box in my living room, leaving me to unpack it and, more importantly, leaving me with a giant box taking up currently taking up a good chunk of my garage. I didnt know if that was the deal or not, so I didnt say anything. Ill just cut it up and burn it in my firepit or something, I guess.
Even with all that I am giving it 4 stars because the sofa itself is pretty nice, imo, and very close to what I expected and because everything happened to work out, but it could have easily gone wrong, so Im deducting a star.
