I bought this bunkbed for my 7 and 8 year old sons. The bed came nicely packaged with decent instructions for assembly. It took me about 3 or 4 hours by myself to get this completely put together and I would say I have some good experience putting things together and this was a little bit of a challenge. I would recommend not putting together alone, a partner would be nice to assist with this. The instruction manual was decent and definitely helped me to get it right the first time. The bed has been up for a few months now and it is holding well. My only complaint really about it is that it is fairly squeaky! I have tried tightening the bolts and stuff but the squeak persists. Other than that the kids love it and it looks nice as well. Also, it does come with extra screws and stuff in case you lose one or two, which is always great.
