They are a little flexible, but so far, everyone that has sat in them like them. Be sure to check the weight limit. They are a lot more expensive elsewhere. The price was what grabbed my attention. Id shopped for chairs for months, and saw these and ordered. They were very easy to assemble. Im 64, female and I assembled them quickly, two in one day and two another day, just because I have joint problems and didnt want to aggravate my arthritis. I could have done all four same day, but no rush was required. After assembly, dont forget to retighten all screws (but NOT overtighten). Very classy looking and the best price Ive found.
