Easy to put together. The back two small pieces go on the back sliding UP first then put the back on. Noticed a few people said they couldnt get the pieces on. It shows that on the directions. I made the mistake also then looked at the directions. Lol. It is firm like at a doctors office waiting room. Good deal for the price. Not soft enough to sleep on.
