Very pretty. Had it almost a week now and still waiting for the smell to dissipate. Some kind of chemical off gassing. My son is so sensitive to it he can't stop coughing when he sleeps and had ended up in our bed instead. Other reviews mention this smell and some say a few days, some say a long time. I'm hoping not too much longer. Not stained wood. Definitely laminate, had to be careful when removing the label stickers after assembly was done because the laminate was peeling off with it. Assembly was easy. Holes were all drilled properly. Planning on adding extra slats or a sheet of plywood for the mattress support but we had figured this from other reviews and it's an easy fix.
For the price, it's an amazing deal, feels sturdy and my kids love it. If that smell will just clear out so we can actually sleep on it we will love it.
