Dont buy a thick bottom bunk mattress.
The bed looks great! Having a hard time getting the last few screws in. I didnt think about the clearance between the bottom and top bunk and bought a 12 inch mattress for the bottom bunk...bad idea! I wish I got an 8 mattress. : /
