Pretty difficult to assemble, and I couldn't imagine doing it with one person instead of two.
But for the cost, that's not a huge deal.
I only had one small crack in the wood because I screwed too tight, and a couple of cosmetic cracks, but nothing that affected sturdiness even a little.
Again, for the cost, it's easy to overlook slight cosmetic imperfections.
