I was looking for something I could sit on when putting on my shoes because my shoes were just sitting on the floor and most of the creases that are on my leather shoes comes from when Im kneeling down to put them on.
Upon receiving and unpacking the contents, I was happy to find that there was no major damages (one corner of the wooden pieces had a small section where it was splintering, but it wasnt too noticeable and nothing that I felt required a return). The instructions consisted one of diagram showing how to assemble the bench (not like s step by step directions). After taking a few minutes to soak up the directions, assembling took less than 30 minutes. I did use a power drill to attach the bench cushion to the wooden frame.
This bench solved the problem where I can comfortably sit and put on my shoes like a grown up Im around 160lbs. and the bench feels sturdy. It also addresses the somewhat ugly site of shoes just laying around that section of the house. One thing I did notice is that taller/hi-top shoes did not fit well on the lower rack. On the upper rack, theres a little bit more head room, but it can still be a tight squeeze placing and removing the shoes. As seen in the stock photo, the shoe rack easily stores 6 pairs of adult shoes and you can slide lower profile shoes (e.g. flats, converse chucks) underneath the bottom row. I wish their were more color options, but Im happy with the purchase.
