I needed something small to hold my shoes and saw how cheap this was so I decided to give it a try. It fits perfectly by the front door and the bench on top is a great bonus as I dont have enough room for a chair nearby. Not sure about the weight limit but it feels sturdy holding my 150 pounds. I can squeeze some small boots on the top shelf but anything that gets close to your calf probably wont fit.
