Easy to assemble, but definitely have a wrench or pliers wrench handy. A part of the central piece of the bed frame was bent out of shape such that one of the bars couldnt fit into it. Fortunately I had a pliers wrench handy so I was able to bend the piece such that the bar could fit into the slot.
