I bought this bed frame for my granddaughter who is moving from crib to bed. I remember jumping on my bed as a child and wanted a frame that would not break with rough childhood treatment. My daughter and I jumped on this frame ( and mattress of course). Several times and believe there will be no issues later when my granddaughter will also play on the bed. It is sturdy amd was easy to put together. The storage space will come in to use even more as my granddaughter grows and space is needed more for her stuff this frame is Everything I wanted from my purchase
