They were reasonably easy to assemble. The instructions were pretty straight forward. All the hardware was included. They seem stable enough and had plenty of room for our childrens toys in the playroom. Our only complaint is that the closing magnet mechanism seems a little lightweight, but it does the job and could easily be replaced down the road if needed. Overall wed buy more to add to our storage.
