I'll preface this by saying I am the world's least handy person. In the past, assemble-at-home furniture has driven me into a panic. So for people like me, fear not... this thing is actually pretty straightforward to assmemble. I won't say easy since it still took us about three hours, but the instructions were clearly laid out.
A few small tips that may make assembly easier:
1) When putting in the middle two vertical pieces (4 and 5), the size of the pre-drilled holes for the screws is different on the bottom (where you attach to the bottom horizontal support) and the top (where you attach to the top horizonal support)
2) When putting in the vertical pieces, REALLY tighten the screws
3) When attaching the doors, you insert the bottom hinge into the plastic hole (I think it's piece N), and then slide the door in (it's kind of worded that way but a little unclear).
All in all, we're really happy with this piece. It looks great, has a ton of storage space, and is a good height for our 55'' TV.
