This came with a big gash in the top and when removed from the box there was no protective covering (interestingly enough, there was coverings all over everything else). This is definitely an eyesore, but there is not much I can do since it was so big.
with that said... the other aspects of it were great. it's very sturdy, easy to assemble, and has tons of room. it would have gotten five starts if it did not have the huge gash that I pictured above. When it's the centerpiece of the room however...
