Packed very smartly, arrived with no damage at all. Assembly is tedious, and you MUST look at direction photos closely, perhaps with a magnifying glass, to supplement the words and not make mistakes, but bottom line is that the directions are accurate. I'm pretty handy and did it alone in 2-3 hours. Final look is better than I expected, respectable fit and finish, not cheapo-looking. Sturdy enough as media console, but I would not load up with heavy weight.
