Heavy and ergonomic. Comfortable without a seat cushion, but more comfortable with (surprise!). Have some that have been outside constantly for three years in Utah (15 degree winters, 100 degree summers) and they look and act brand new. No wear and tear whatsoever.
It is worth it just for the lack of maintenance. Wood ones just dont hold a candle to these and wood chairs require restaining every other year plus the rot and eventual stripping of screws and the inevitable splinter.
I think its easily more economical to buy these as youll run through 4 or 5 wood chairs easily.
Just bought two more to go with my others.
Solid, beautiful, durable
