I bought this recliner to replace a rocker/recliner that my Wife used. After her stroke, she has had difficulty getting up out of the old chair and could never get completely comfortable in the old chair with the side handle footrest/ seat/back single control With the chair lift the struggles have gone away and she can now get a custom comfort fit with the separate seat/back and footrest controls. And as an added bonus it also passed my Can fall asleep in it test as it fits my 6 frame when fully reclined. This was a good buy!
