I purchased this product for my recipe and cookbooks, rather than having them on my countertops or in a cabinet in the kitchen and taking up valuable space. It is made of real wood and was fairly easy to assemble. I feel it was worth the money I spent on it. It fit perfectly under the edge of my island counter and looks great. Now I have easy access to my cookbooks and recipes!!
