I honestly love reading reviews but always forget to write one except when a product is really bad. I wanted to make sure to write one for this bed because it is so much bang for the buck and looks amazing. The bed arrived in two well-packages boxes. I, as a 5,2 female, was able to bring the boxes in from my front porch on my own. I opened the boxes downstairs and brought the pieces upstairs individually. The instructions were super easy to follow and very few steps. I was able to assemble the bed on my own in less than 2 hours. The tightening of the nuts was honestly the most time consuming of it all. The bed looks amazing and only a fraction of the cost of beds I have looked at in brick and mortar shops and online competitors. Once fully assembled it is really sturdy and soundless. I put a 12 hybrid mattress on it (no box frame needed) and the height was perfect. For reference, the height was the same as when I had the same mattress on a box spring on a basic metal bed frame. Im obsessed with this bed and love how it looks.
