Beautiful, long, modern gray sofa; Absolutely 5 stars!
I ordered the gray sofa. It is a medium gray - not dark charcoal, not light gray. I can see no blue tones to it, although some reviewers have said they see blue undertones. I put a dark gray ottoman next to it and they both look simply gray.
It was delivered fully packaged in a cardboard box. The sofa was well protected by both rubbery-foam padding on the wooden parts and a huge off-white drawstring slipcover on the entire fabric part. The legs were in a little compartment built into the sofas underside.
I assembled it in less than 10 minutes with no special tools. Everything you need is included.
As a side note, I am saving the slipcover to use when the cat is home alone. Its not waterproof, but it does protect from excess cat hair, and Ive already washed it once so I know it stands up to a washing.
The cushions are very, very firm. Some people have complained about this, but I love it. As you know, cushions only get softer and flatter with time, so Im very glad this sofa will take a long time to sag where my husband sits every night.
The sofas fabric is soft to the touch. Not soft as in crushed velvet or faux suede, but soft as in an often-washed pair of fine quality jeans. The fabric is smooth and doesnt stick out in any way to catch on anything, which I appreciate.
It is a clean design, very long, and very comfortable once I put my legs up on an ottoman for the night.
I give it absolutely 5 stars.
