I liked the antique white finish and look for my living room. I assembled it myself (with the help of a couple of yoga belts) and the directions were complete and easy to follow. Even though the booklet states that its not to be used as a TV stand, the cabinet is sturdy and thats what Im using mine for. Two closed cabinets hold my DVD collection and the middle section holds my DVD player.
