My chair arrived in two boxes, puzzlingly on two separate days. When I unpacked it, I found I was missing half the instructions for assembly, however, when I phoned a customer service person emailed me the instructions right away, so I had them within minutes.
For me, an older woman with back issues, assembling the chair wasnt as easy as many people have said here, but in about an hour I did have it together and everything works.
The chair is comfortable, though not as deeply padded as many. The seat height, depth and width are perfect for me at 54. It has to sit farther from the wall than the one I replaced.
The back didnt seem really sturdy at first. It didnt go into its brackets as solidly as my old one. However, now that Ive been sitting on it, Im not worried about it. It seems to be sufficiently solid.
I was slightly disappointed in the heat feature. I have tried it several times and have yet to actually feel it. And you cant have heat without the massage running. But thats minor.
I would advise you to remove any cups from the cup holders before using the lift feature to avoid spills.
This is an attractive, comfortable chair and a good value for the price.
