This chair is plenty roomy, seat is firm, but comfy, and the back is well padded. I got this for a steal via the Warehouse for close to half of the normal cost. For the price, its great. You will need a bolster behind your lower back as the frame for the recliner feels hard there. Dont pull this around by the arms. The wood cracks like particle board (I cracked the left arm, still functions though).
