I purchased this recliner for my small studio apartment because it was small enough to fit the small space and allow seating for two. It works perfectly for the size. However, this thing is complete junk. Its worth 1/2 the price, maybe. I owned this less than 4 months before my elbow crashed through the armrest as I was relaxing with my head propped on my hand. Theres an elbow shaped indention in the arm now because the underlying wood construction is near paper thing and crumbled. The foot rest is also very flimsy. I emailed the manufacturer about the defect and am awaiting a reply.
