We love it, but there are little plastic pieces that could be a choking hazard
We love this chair at our house. Its super comfortable, even for me(and Im pretty picky). Weve been using it at our family computer, so we all sit in it occasionally. My boys sit in it for schoolwork and its tons better for them than the one it replaced. It looks nice and well made. It was pretty easy to assemble. I did it myself, but it would be an easier job with 2 people. Weve been incredibly pleased with it, though.
On the slightly negative side, if you have cats, be warned that their claws damage the chair. Our two tried to take it over when we first got it. Though we tried to encourage them elsewhere unsuccessfully and then put a blanket over it, damage was already done. Also, theres a possible choking hazard with this chair around. There are little pieces of plastic than can be pushed in the holes where the screws go, to cover it and make it look better. These come out pretty easily. For awhile, I kept finding them in the floor. While I put this chair together, I didnt recognize them at first. I finally figured it out, though, and now when I find them, its easy to stick them back in place. (My children are fidgeting with them as theyre sitting in it, causing them to come out. Were working on breaking that habit now.) They do make the chair look nicer, but theyre not necessary. I do prefer them on(because my children are older), but if you have little ones or animals that might choke on the pieces, it might be best to leave them off when assembling it.
