Ive assembled a fair amount of furniture over the years. This one required only a screwdriver and a hex tool (provided) but I did use a power screwdriver (be careful not to over tighten). It took me only 2 hours to put this together by myself (you will need a second person to lift and place the top bed)..
It ships in a surprisingly small box and arrived undamaged. The instructions were clear but take your time to observe the position of the parts as you put this together.
All and all this was a good value for the money.
