Was a little hesitant at first due to lack of reviews but overall I am glad we purchased this. It is a great value and an amazing desk. My husband was able to put it together mostly by himself (there were some boards he could not hold together + drill/screw into place) in about 3-4 hours time. We made a few modifications, due to wanting even more stability. It was good enough on its own but we did anchor it to the wall and order a bunkie board. The bunkie board is a thin type of board/support made for bunk beads that’s adds the stability of a box spring without the bulk. With those two additions we are even happier and assured of its stability for our 85lb tween. Because of the mods we made, for the stability, this is why I gave 3 stars. This is a surprise upgrade to his room for the summer. We love all the shelf and desk space. It will definitely make being in his room more cool and motivation to study.
