The chair held a grown man weighing 275lbs 62 in height. However he was nervous to move in the chair it did make a cracking sounds when he went to lean to get his drink off the end table.
When larger adults come over they avoid the chairs like a plague. I can barely get anyone to sit in them my mom only weighs 180 510 in height. I have sit in them they arent made to sit in for hours just a short time for comfort.
Honestly maybe this is a room chair for make up, putting on shoes, a clothes catch all or just for looks.
