I was worried about buying this for my daughter. seen alot of bad reviews on it and i sucked it up and bought it. When it showed up i had to help the ups guy bring it in. it is very heavy and long. one person can not bring this product into there house. i would say it weights about 150 pounds. You have to be pretty tool handy to put this together and know what your doing. the tool that came with the product to put it together was useless. i used a 3/8 extension with a drill. Its a must to save time. the only update i would do it put actual plywood across the supports for the mattress.
