I've worked construction and maintenance, so know how to use tools. Most of the futon went together without issue.
However, burrs had not been brushed off all of the bolts and nuts, and I got a pretty good size sliver of metal in my finger while trying to finger tighten a nut onto a bolt.
Also, a couple of the pieces were not properly machined and did not line up properly with the holes in the futon. So what should have taken seconds to thread two of the screws (as it had with the others), turned in to over 30 minutes, trying every contortion, along with all manner of pushing and pulling to get the holes to line up.
Allow plenty of extra time to assemble
