First, warning for those who live in small spaces or apartments not on the first floor: You will need to break down the box in order to get this product in your place. It comes in a huge box and is heavy! Fortunately, everything inside comes packaged in other boxes and makes it much easier to carry upstairs. There are a lot of components to set up this frame, so prepare for a lot of trips back and forth, and a lot of packaging!
Setting up the frame was time-consuming, but an easy process. There are detailed step-by-step instructions, but there are a lot of pieces so make sure you have all of them before you start building. It too me 2-3 hours to get the frame together, but it seems very sturdy. The drawers are big enough to fit a few pairs of sheets and a throw blanket in each of them. Once I finished the frame seemed perfect and just what I was looking for.
...then I put my mattress on the frame and found the mattress was just slightly too big to fit into the frame. The bottom of my mattress hangs just over the edge of the bed frame. Its not too much of an issue, since the bed still sits inside of the frame fine. However, its not a perfect fit. I would recommend this product, but be aware that your mattress may not fit the frame perfectly.
