Its a fine sturdy bed with a few issues:
1) the lip around the mattress is a bit shallow in relation to the slats, so the mattress can slide off
2) The double sized only has 2 drawers, not 4 as shown in the image
3) The assembly instructions are TERRIBLE! The illustrations often show a step with only one image, and no information about the orientation of each piece.
Specifically re: 3 - you get told Attach X to T using 4 of the 4 fasteners.
The image is a side view, but there is a metal piece attached to one of those parts, and the picture doesnt show whether that should be at the top or bottom once the step is completed. You only see it from the outside. This kind of thing resulted in our having to stop 3-4 times mid-assembly to take something apart and put it back together right-side-up.
An assembly video would greatly help with this issue, but the video clip shown here is of the assembled piece only.
They do get part of a star back for providing a few extra parts in case something breaks or doesnt fit.
