So for $230 on almost any other similar product youll get a frame or a mattress. This gives you both and it is really comfortable. I take naps on this all the time. As a fairly lean person (150lbs, 59) I can fit 2-3 others on this couch if I wanted to be squished. If you have 1-2 others on the couch its perfect except for the person on the center stability bar. Armrests rock.
The futon itself comes with a few tools needed to build it, but theyre fairly low grade so youd be better off with using personal tools. One of my complaints about the futon is that the center legs are plastic but theyre hidden well enough to look similar to the wooden counterparts on the corners.
Overall its a good buy for the cost. Ill try to update in 6-12 months on its performance then.
