Ive been wanting a new couch for a while now, and finally pulled the trigger and got this couch. After about a month of having this couch I am so glad I did!
As other reviewers have mentioned, this couch is firm but very comfortable. My old couch was a older couch that had soft cushions that you sink into, and I actually find this couch much more comfortable. This is my only couch so it will get a good amount of use, and so far the couch seems like it will hold up well. My only concern is the tufting on the seat cushion, because there are so many seams I can imagine some of the seams separating with more wear. Some of the other reviews mentioned their couches squeaking, and my couch has squeaked once or twice. But not consistently or enough to bother me.
For my small one-bedroom place (650 sq ft) the 74 couch is the perfect size. I think it could comfortably fit 3 people, and it is just long enough for one person to stretch out on. Because the back cushions are removable it can function as a guest bed (I am short and can comfortably lay down between the arms).
I debated the color for a long time, and I have no regrets getting the Wathet Blue. It is dark enough to hide stains/dirt, but is still neutral. The color is not quite as dark as the product images (which I was expecting based on the reviews) but it is a little darker than the photos from some of the product reviews. It is a nice dark denim color with interwoven tan strands that give it a nice tweed appearance.
I was a little wary after reading some of the negative reviews regarding delivery, but the delivery of my couch was flawless. I got updates leading up to the scheduled delivery, and the couch was delivered within the scheduled delivery window.
Perfect affordable mid-century couch!
