Ive had this futon for about a year now with no wear/and/tear in a studio apartment. Its been used mainly as a couch, but the few times it was used as a futon, no one complained about their sleep. For how much I paid, Im happy with the results.
Right after I bought it, I treated it with a liquid/resistant spray so that nothing would stain it if something were to spill. Its worth the extra 10 so you can get the most out of it without having to worry too much.
