ok listen, im not going to pretend this couch is super comfortable, because its only kinda cozy. but i sit on this couch way too often and im still alive. however, im not picky and im the type of person who would rather have a good looking couch than a comfortable couch. and btw this couch is gorgeous! i get a ton of compliments on it. its perfect for someone who is broke like me, but wants a cool space. it was also super easy to assemble. probably the easiest furniture assembly ever. i have yet to use it as a futon, but im sure its solid. if comfort is a concern, toss a mattress topper on it when using it as a futon and im sure nobody sleeping on it will complain
