We bought this for a cabin with many steps. The piece is pretty heavy but compact so we were able to transport in our Outback. My husband had it together in about 15 minutes. We love it and dont understand the reviews complaining its uncomfortable. People have gotten used to sitting on marshmallow furniture and recliners in movie theaters. Anyway, theres enough space underneath for storing games etc. which is a bonus. I do keep blanket on it for dogs because the fabric seems thin. Overall for the style, size, and portability, its a great deal.
