After upgrading to a real bedframe from my old home/built one which was just a bed on stilts, I wanted to maintain lots of under/bed storage space. I didnt know beds like this existed and ALMOST missed it, but I found this, saw good reviews, and was not disappointed. I didnt install the bottom board for this bed, which adds another couple of inches of storage, and I store everything from luggage, to backpacking equipment, sports equipment, and beyond under here and its still not full.
It took several hours to build, but I honestly I dont care about spending a few hours on furniture that will last me years and years to come.
All the upholstery looks great, and the mechanism to open it is really easy to operate. Seriously it works really well. Im super pleased.
